Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Technical Training (BTT)
Description
The Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Technical Training is a one-week training and includes the following 3 modules:
- Module 1: The BTT Mechanical Module- 2 Days,
- Module 2: The BTT Electrical Module- 1 Day,
- Module 3: The BTT Hydraulic Module- 1 Day,
- All Assessments and Evaluations- 1 Day,
Course objective (Applicability):
The aim of the GWO BTT Module is to give the candidate the knowledge and skills to carry out basic mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic tasks (supervised by a qualified and experienced Wind Turbine Technician -WTST) using safe working procedures and correct PPE, as learned during the accompanying Basic Safety Training (BST) course.
Why should I take this course?
The GWO BTT modules are targeted at candidates who have no previous experience in hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical fields and can be applied in other industries apart from Wind Energy.
