SARETEC offers specialised training in renewable energy and related technical fields, including:
- Wind Turbine Service Technician (WTST)
- Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installation
- Renewable Energy Workshop Assistant
- Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) short courses

Additional programmes are offered from time to time. Please check our website or social media for the latest course schedule.

You must complete a SARETEC Training Application Form and submit the required documents.
Forms can be downloaded from the website or requested by email.

You must include:
- Certified copy of your ID or passport
- Certified copy of your highest qualification (e.g., matric certificate)
- Updated CV
- Proof of address
- Sponsorship letter (if applicable)

Some of our students are sponsored by industry partners or SETAs.
Please indicate on your application if you are sponsored or applying for funding.
SARETEC does not directly offer bursaries but can guide you to available opportunities.

Minimum requirements differ by course. Generally, you need:
- A Grade 12 certificate (Matric) with maths and science for technical programmes
- Physical and medical fitness (especially for WTST)
- Good communication and basic computer literacy

Yes, many of our learners are unemployed youth or career changers.

Please indicate your employment status in the application form.

SARETEC is based at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Bellville Campus in Cape Town, South Africa.

SARETEC does not provide accommodation. However, we can suggest nearby lodging options for out-of-town learners.

You will be notified via email once your application has been reviewed. If shortlisted, you may be contacted for an interview, assessment, or medical screening (depending on the course).
